Springdale Park Elementary School

Grades: K-5

Springdale Park Elementary, also known as SPARK, opened to 365 students in 2009. At the time, it consisted of one new building and two renovated historic homes.

SPARK was Georgia’s very first green school which holds a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or LEED gold certification. In 2014, the Briarcliff Building was completed which offered a brand-new gymnasium for the students.

Centennial Place Academy is a public charter school currently serving 812 students. This is the only school in the Atlanta Public School System with a mathematics, technology and science theme.

David T. Howard Middle School

Formerly known as Inman Middle School, David T. Howard Middle School is a newly renovated education center featuring a historic school building. It officially opened under its new name in August 2020.
